There are a lot of things people won’t do for free.. And by free I mean getting paid to do it. But then there are people who take a chance and agree to do things for free for the payment of experience and meeting new friends. I was given that chance this past weekend to meet and work with two very creative people. Spending an afternoon of otherwise not doing anything, enjoying the weather, sparking that inner creativity and doing what I love to do.. Photography

Is War bad??

Through out history there has been war. In modern times it has been documented in many ways. Out of all the demise and disaster there has been a profession to come out of. War Photographer

After seeing weeks of speculation, reading the rumors and then finally seeing it today.. Its a great tool!.. do I like mine? yes, I love it.. Will I upgrade? well thats still to be seen. The Mrs. wants one now and the new price is knocking on so many vendors doors its too good to pass up. I’m more bummed that we have to wait for the software update in July for exiting owners. :( I’ve been trying to think of a photography themed application to develop for it, nothing has hit me yet. maybe some day
But I have to take my hat off to apple and all the hard working developers to make a great communication tool that everyone just wants to copy.. Who said it was lonely at the top? Rock on Apple!

Wonders of Nature

The above photo was taken last night in one of the most stunning displays I’ve witnessed for a very very long time.

I give all the credit to photographers that do this type of work on a regular basis cause its not hard.. Kinda like spearing a fish.. you make a lot of misses before you get one. Of course I had to make the picture more dramatic with the blue coloring but I like it :)

Its one of those things that I say to myself all the time. Slow down and look around you more.. Its amazing on what you will find.
